Enjoy walking over the land to Whitsand Bay which has miles of sandy beach. The area is also famed for its delightful cliff-top walks. Take the ferry ride, which is close by, to Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican, cinemas, theatre, sports facilities, shops and pubs. You will also be close to many of Cornwall's most popular attractions which are a nice drive and include Mount Edgecombe Park, Launceston Steam Railway, Tamar Otter Park, Bodmin Moor and gaol, Jamaica Inn and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Farm activities: watch the animals being milked and at certain times of the year you can feed the calves. Play facilities: for children there is a lawn play area with swing.
