With a fully-fenced fishing lake, there is an extremely attractive and abundant mixture of flora and fauna around the many fields which are well worth a stroll. The nearby cattle market town of Holsworthy offers a sports centre where you can enjoy a swim in the indoor heated pool, visit the weekly cattle and pannier market or enjoy a game of golf, go fishing, riding or just take a leisurely country stroll. Enjoy the Holsworthy cycle route which has now opened. The dramatic North Cornish coastline, surfing beaches and seaside attractions at Bude are only a short drive and the rugged scenery of Dartmoor, Exmoor or Bodmin Moor are within easy distance. There are numerous tourist attractions in the area such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, The Tamar Otter Park, King Arthur's Tintagel and National Trust properties are just a selection. They have been tastefully renovated whilst retaining much of their original character and charm. Situated close to the main farmhouse on a working farm, the barns are set in beautiful countryside within a short drive of Exmoor. The properties are both perfect retreats for those seeking a countryside getaway, yet are conveniently located for the many amenities and attractions North Devon has to offer, with its wonderful sandy beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! There are many local attractions in the area to suit all tastes. For those who wish to stay closer to home you are welcome to wander freely around the farm and enjoy many walks which can start right from the cottage door. The market town of South Molton is only a short drive as is Barnstaple with its weekly pannier market. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Regret no smoking. Location: beach 20 miles, pub and shop 2 miles. Arranged on one level with wide access doors suitable for wheelchairs, and offers ONE bedroom: double with additional folding guest bed if required. Bathroom: with large double shower and folding wall mounted shower bench. The WC is equipped with grab rails and folding support rails. Lounge/kitchen/diner: large, open-plan with large sofa bed to sleep 2, TV, DVD, Freeview, gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: double doors from the lounge lead onto a patio and enclosed garden with outdoor seating and BBQ. Amenities: heating subject to a small charge of £10 per week from the 1 October - 30 April, payable direct to owner. 1 dog welcome (there is an outdoor shed with small run if visitors wish to make use of this).
