A short stroll directly under Loughrigg Fell will bring you to beautiful Rydal Water, one of Lakelands smallest lakes at only ¾ mile long and ¼ mile wide and a favourite of Wordsworth and many other of the romantic poets and still, to this day, magical, peaceful and most inspiring.
