Superb walks cycle hire steam train trips Flamingo Land and Castle Howard are close by and scenic 'Heartbeat' moorland roads lead to Whitby. Shop 4 miles.

"A beautiful cottage in a very quiet location but within easy reach of lots of areas of interest. The owner was very friendly and helpful but left us to our own devices. The local pub was a mere minute's walk away (if that) and was very cosy with friendly staff. Highly recommended for a get away from it all type holiday."
