The village pub and shop are just 600 yards from the door and the pretty market town of Bedale (2 miles) offers a good choice of shops restaurants and leisure facilities and Leyburn's popular market cinema and wide range of shops are 9 miles. Castle Bolton Fountains Abbey (N.T.) and Aysgarth Waterfalls are among many delights within a short drive.
