Sandy beaches at Westward Ho! or Bude are ideal for surfing and have facilities for hiring wetsuits and lessons if required. The cliffside village of Clovelly is a must see. Wander down the cobbled streets to the pretty harbour where you can indulge yourself with superb local food.
