Accommodation overview: Located 22 miles from Larne port, this traditional, sympathetically restored farmhouse is four miles outside Ballymena, on a 300 acre farm on the Garron Plateau. With its tremendous views across the Slemish Mountain it is a quiet a haven for artists, hill walkers and bird watchers. The area is one of the most glorious in Ireland: the 9 Glens of Antrim, the Plateau, the varied coastline and of course the Giant's Causeway are easily accessible from this very central touring location. Ballymena town is lively with a variety of shops and friendly pubs. Shop 4 miles. Pub 2½ miles. Restaurant 4 miles. Beach 12 miles. GF: lounge, kitchen/diner, utility room.
